Welcome to Bharati Vidyapeeth. I am extremely happy that you have chosen this temple of
learning as a stepping stone for your future progression as a professional.
Dr. Patangrao Kadam had established Bharati Vidyapeeth at the age of 19 in May 1964.
Within a span of a few decades, he had developed it into one of the largest educational
organizations in the country and beyond. He had envisioned metamorphosing Bharati
Vidyapeeth into a full-fledged University, which came true in April 1996 when the
Government of India conferred the status of “Deemed to be University”. Its high academic
standing has been acknowledged by the NAAC, which has awarded it with an ‘A+’ Grade in
three rounds. Bharati Vidyapeeth is placed under the ‘Category-I’ by the UGC. It has
been ranked 63rd among universities by NIRF in 2021. It is committed to providing
value-based demand-driven courses that are relevant to the needs of students and job
sectors.
The current global challenges require graduates with advanced skills, who will drive the
industrial and technological spheres. The constituent units of Bharati Vidyapeeth
provide world-class learning platforms where student learning is enriched as per the
requirements of the industry. Students are encouraged to learn and grow professionally
